Golden Eagles conclude road trip at Utah State on Sunday
The Marquette University women's soccer team (1-2-0) dropped a 7-0 decision at No. 14 BYU (3-2-0) Thursday night in non-conference action at South Field in Provo, Utah.
The Golden Eagles fell behind 3-0 at halftime after allowing 16 shots on by the Cougars, including five on goal. Redshirt freshman Lauren Schill made her first start of the season in net.
BYU finished the contest with a 33-6 advantage in shots, including an 18-1 margin in attempts on goal. Freshman netminder Chloe Olson made her collegiate debut after the intermission and concluded the night with nine saves.
