MILWAUKEE - Marquette University men's lacrosse fell to No. 10 Notre Dame by a score of 18-8 at Valley Fields on Tuesday afternoon.Â
Devon Cowan paced the Golden Eagles (4-7, 2-0 BIG EAST) with four goals, and Bobby O'Grady found the net twice.
Netminder Michael Allieri contributed a career-high 15 saves, while Cole Emmanuel won 15-of-20 faceoffs and scooped up 10 ground balls in the contest.
For the Fighting Irish (5-4, 2-2 ACC), Jake Taylor led with five goals, with Pat Kavanagh and Quinn McCahon each adding two goals and three assists. Goalie Liam Entenmann made 15 saves, and Will Lynch totaled 10 faceoff wins.
