Final Home Game for MU Before Fort Meyers Tip-Off
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's basketball team (3-0, 0-0 BIG EAST) returns home to host Saint Peter's this Sunday, Nov. 19. Tipoff from the Al McGuire Center is at 1 p.m. CT.
The Golden Eagles are coming off their first road game of the season, beating IUPUI 92-58 in Indianapolis on Wednesday night. MU shot 52.2 percent from the floor, the third-straight game shooting over 50 percent as a team. It's the first time in the Megan Duffy era MU has shot 50 percent or better in its first three games.
Mackenzie Hare has led the team in scoring twice in the first three contests. The sophomore had a game-high 22 points at IUPUI, one point shy of tying a career-high. Hare is 20th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (6.5) and has hit a team-high 10 three-pointers.
