
Golf Continues Season at Tiger Collegiate Invitational

Round one tees off at 9 a.m. CT
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's golf team heads to The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Missouri for the Tiger Collegiate Invitational on Apr. 10-11.
THE EVENT
Round one of the Tiger Collegiate Invitational will tee off Monday morning at 9 a.m. Round two will follow in the afternoon. The tournament will conclude Tuesday afternoon. Live scoring for the tournament will be available on Golfstat.
Arkansas State, Kansas State, Illinois, Iowa State, Lipscomb, Louisiana Monroe, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, Rutgers and Wyoming will be joining Marquette and Missouri in the field.
THE COURSE
The Club at Old Hawthorne was designed by Arthur Schaupeter plays as a par 72 and stretches 7221 yards. The course plays over rolling terrain with multiple water hazards. Old Hawthorne features wide fairways with bunkers placed in the center of the fairway, spliting the fairways and creating different options for attacking the green.
THE LINEUP

INDIVIDUAL: Patrick Adler
The Golden Eagles finished 14th as a team last time out at the Valspar Collegiate. Marquette heads to Old Hawthorne with the same lineup.Â
MU heads into its ninth tournament of the season currently ranked first in the BIG EAST on Golfstat. Marquette tops the conference in scoring average (286.67) and score vs. par (2.00).Â
Lyons was the low man for MU at Floridian National Golf Club, finishing 1-under par (212) for the tournament. The Marquette sophomore shot a season low 6-under 65 in the opening round of the Valspar Collegiate for his 12th round of par or better and seventh round in the 60s, both team-bests. Lyons also leads the team in average score (72.17) and score vs. par (0.96).Â
Through eight tournaments, Robinson is posting career bests in average score (72.65), score vs. par (1.52) and rounds of par or better (8). The Lisburn, Northern Ireland native has also recorded the lowest 54-hole tournament score (210) of his career, doing it in back-to-back tournaments.
Adler returns to action this week competing as an individual.
