WBB Hosts Seton Hall Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT

MILWAUKEE – The Marquette women's basketball team hosts Seton Hall Tuesday night at 7 p.m. CT at the Al McGuire Center.

The game will be broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports with Bob Brainerd (play-by-play) and Michelle Griffin-Wenzel (analyst) on the call.

STARTING FIVE
• In her fifth season at the helm of Marquette women's basketball, Coach Duffy has the best winning percentage of any coach in MU history, going 106-43 (.711) overall and 61-29 (.678) in BIG EAST play.
• MU is one of 14 schools to have two-or-more players on Naismith Starting 5 awards Top 10 lists (Jordan King & Liza Karlen).
• Rose Nkumu is 10th in the nation with a 2.84 assist-to-turnover ratio.
• Liza Karlen has four double-doubles in the last six games.
• Mackenzie Hare is seventh in the nation in 3-point percentage (45.1) and 14th in 3's made (74).

SCOUTING THE PIRATES
• Seton Hall is coming off a 91-78 win over DePaul at home on Sunday.
• The Pirates 91 points scored and 33 made field goals were both season highs.
• Azana Baines was voted Preseason Honorable Mention All-BIG EAST.
• The Pirates were picked to finish fifth in the BIG EAST preseason coaches' poll.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST SETON HALL
• Tuesday will be the 31st meeting between Marquette and Seton Hall.
• The Golden Eagles lead the series, 19-11, and have won three out of the last five.
• Marquette is 13-0 at home versus the Pirates.

FIRST MEETING THIS SEASON
• Marquette beat Seton Hall 75-54 in South Orange on Jan. 17, 2024.
• Liza Karlen had a career-high 30 points on 11-16 shooting.
• MU shot 53.7 percent from the floor and 50 percent from deep.
• Golden Eagles were up by two at half but outscored the Pirates 27-13 in the third.
• MU's 75 points were the most Seton Hall had given up all season in regulation.

150 WINS AS A HEAD COACH FOR DUFFY
• Megan Duffy earned her 150th win as a head coach last Tuesday against DePaul.
• Duffy has 106 wins at Marquette and had 44 during her time at Miami (Ohio) from 2017-19.

LIZA ON BIG EAST WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
• Liza Karlen earned a spot on the conference's weekly honor roll on Monday after her 16-point 12-rebound double-double against DePaul.
• Karlen has earned seven conference honors this season, including three BIG EAST Player of the Week nods.

HARE CLOSE TO SOPHOMORE RECORD
• Mackenzie Hare is two made 3's away from breaking the program record for 3's made by a sophomore (75) set by Natisha Hiedeman during the 2016-17 season.
