Marquette hosts No. 3 Michigan Sunday at noon CT
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's lacrosse team defeated Central Michigan on Friday, 17-6, at Valley Fields.
The Golden Eagles (4-6, 0-0 BIG EAST) were led by Hannah Greving, who had a career-high six points. The graduate student attacker tied her career-high with three goals with three assists.
Tess Osburn and Meg Bireley joined Greving on the scoresheet with three goals.
Junior midfielder Josie Kropp had 13 draw controls for the second game in a row. MU as a team won 22-out-of-25 draw controls on the day.
Central Michigan (1-10, 0-0 MAC) was led by Reagan Martinson and Natalie DiSanto who had two goals each.
NOTABLES:
