Golden Eagles win fourth in a row, move to 2-0 in BIG EAST play
The Marquette University women's lacrosse team (8-3, 2-0 BIG EAST) won their fourth game in a row after defeating Xavier, 19-9, on Saturday at Valley Fields.
The Golden Eagles were led by the trio of Meg Bireley, Tess Osburn and Hanna Bodner who combined for 15 of MU's 19 goals.
Bireley had seven goals and one assist for her third game of the season with eight-or-more points. Osburn added five goals and one assist for her sixth six-point game of the season.
Bodner scored a hat trick and added one assist for her fourth-straight game of three-or-more goals.
Marquette led 15-3 at halftime and had a season-low nine turnovers.
