#MUBB Pulls Away For 92-64 Win At Georgetown

Golden Eagles Return To Action Tuesday vs. DePaul
The Marquette University men's basketball team (9-6, 1-3 BIG EAST) picked up a 92-64 victory at Georgetown (6-5, 0-0 BIG EAST) Friday night in league action on the road.
Forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper finished with a career-high 22 points and forward Kur Kuath chipped in a personal-best 11 rebounds. Marquette shot 59.1 percent from the floor for the game and held Georgetown to just 29.9 percent.
Marquette took control in the second half with a 17-0 run in just over three minutes of action. Georgetown had closed to within 47-44 prior to the run, which was sparked by a Darryl Morsell and-1 on an inbounds pass.
The Golden Eagles lead 45-37 at the intermission, but were up by as many as 19 with 3:32 left in the opening stanza. Marquette shot 55.9 percent from the floor and eight different players scored prior to the half. Prosper led the way with 13 first-half points.

- Forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper finished with 22 points and had matched his career high of 13 points by halftime. Prosper has scored in double figures in 3-of-4 outings since returning to the starting lineup after reaching 10 points just once in the first 12 games.
- Forward Kur Kuath finished with a collegiate-high 11 rebounds. His previous best total of nine came against West Virginia (1/2/21) while at Oklahoma
