NOTABLE:
- The Golden Eagles had a pregame moment of silence to honor former Team Impact teammate Kurt Hendrick, who passed away last summer after battling a terminal illness at the age of 16.
- Williams moved past MU assistant coach and former USILA All-American Jake Richard for sole possession of third place in program history with 204 career ground balls. Williams entered the game against PC with the fifth-best faceoff winning percentage in NCAA Division I (.625) and was MU's team leader with 6.45 ground balls per game in 2024. He improved both marks on Saturday.
- Stegman had a team-high five points on two goals and three assists. It is the fourth time this season and the 11th time in his career hat MU's all-time assist leader has recorded at least three helpers in a single game.
- Marquette still leads the all-time series against PC, 7-5.
- MU is 4-2 all-time against PC at home but Saturday was the first game against the Friars in the stadium at Valley Fields on natural grass. The two previous outdoor games at MU were played at Hart Park in 2014 during MU's first BIG EAST campaign, and on the middle turf field at Valley before the seasonal dome was erected in 2016.
