
Track & Field Set for Warhawk Invitational

Track and field travels to UW-Whitewater on April 22-23
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's and women's track and field teams head to Whitewater this weekend to compete in the Warhawk Invitational. The meet will take place Friday and Saturday, Apr. 22-23, at the Rex Foster Track Complex.
Competition begins Friday at 1 p.m. CT with the heptathlon. The start of the decathlon will follow. The remainder of the events will follow on Saturday at 10 a.m. Live results for the Warhawk Invitational can be found here.
LAST TIME OUT:
The Golden Eagles return from a west coast swing where they competed in three California meets. The team also sent representatives to the Wisconsin Lutheran Warrior Invitational.
Next weekend, April 28-30, the Golden Eagles will travel to Des Moines, Iowa for the Drake Relays. Members of the team will also be competing at UW-Whitewater on Friday, April 29.

- Junior Kendall Pfrimmer recorded the No. 3 time in program history with a PR of 16:34.20 in the 5K at the MT. SACS Relays. Pfrimmer's time currently ranks 7th-best in the BIG EAST.
- Mitchell Van Vooren began his week by breaking his personal best in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.34. Van Vooren would go on to surpass that time the following day at Azusa Pacific recording a time of 53.97. His time ranks second fastest in the BIG EAST this season and 10th-best in school history.
- Emily Noone took first in her heat of the 1500 meters at the MT. SACS Relays in a personal best time of 4:34.87.
- Freshman Daylee Braden ran a personal best of 56.03 in the 400 meters at Long Beach. Her time is No. 6 all-time in program history. Braden also recorded a PR in the 200 meters of 25.49.
- Zachariah Murray set a personal record in the 200 meters with a time of 22.33. He also ran a personal best in the 400 meters with a time of 48.69 at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate.
- At the Warrior Invite, freshman Caden George took first place in the 400-meter hurdles with a PR of 58.90.
- Allie Flando threw a personal best in the discus with a mark of 43.29 meters/142 feet at Long Beach, good for 4th-best in the BIG EAST. At the Bryan Clay Invitational, Flando recorded a mark of 13.14meters/43 feet, 1.5 inches in the shot put. Her mark ranks fourth in the BIG EAST.
