‘Blue & Gold’ Student-Athlete: Casey Carlson

Senior track student-athlete is a construction engineering major
MILWAUKEE – Senior track and field student athlete Casey Carlson is the Blue & Gold Student-Athlete of the Month for February, as chosen by Marquette Athletics' Academics and Student Programs staff.
Carlson is senior in the College of Engineering, majoring in construction engineering. He has earned Dean's List, AD Honor Roll and BIG EAST All-Academic Team honors every semester and is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, the national honor society for college athletes.
During his semester-long co-op experience in the Fall of 2024, Carlson worked with project managers at the Findorff Corporation, most notably on the final stages of the Wellness + Helfaer Recreation Center. He was involved with the design team and the field crew as well as with the management team keeping the project on pace for its January 2025 opening. He has also been involved in the Marquette Mentors program, and is a SAAC representative for men's track & field.
Carlson has competed in 40 meets in the high jump over his career with the Golden Eagles, including at six BIG EAST Indoor and Outdoor Championships combined. His career best indoor high jump came when he cleared 1.98 meters at the 2021 Blue & Gold Invitational. Outdoors, he cleared 1.93 meters at the 2024 BIG EAST Championships.
