
Track & Field Continues Season at Notre Dame & Parkside

Weekend action kicks off at Notre Dame Friday at 10:30 a.m. CT
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette men's and women's track & field teams will hit the road for a pair of meets this weekend. MU will be sending representatives to Notre Dame for the Meyo Invitational (Feb. 4-5) and UW-Parkside for the Parkside Classic (Feb. 5).
The Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame will kick off Friday at 10:30 a.m. CT. The first MU event will begin at 3:00 p.m. CT. Results for the Meyo Invitational can be found here. There will also be live stream coverage by ESPN on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. CT.
The Parkside Classic will begin at 10Â a.m. CT with the field events. Running Events will begin at 1 p.m. CT. Live results can be found here for the Parkside Classic.

Last week the Marquette track & field team competed at the Bill Clinger Classic hosted by Grand Valley State and the John Tierney Classic hosted by UW-Milwaukee.
UP NEXT:
Next weekend the team will be making the trip to Allendale, Michigan to compete in the Grand Valley State Big Meet.

NOTABLES LAST TIME OUT:

- The Golden Eagles achieved 30 PRs and six added their names to the top-ten lists.
- Senior Joe Keys placed first in the heptathlon with a score of 5631 at the Bill Clinger Classic. Key's score currently ranks 12th nationally.
- Senior Megan Wallace recorded the second-best pentathlon score in school history with a score of 3651and placed second overall at the Bill Clinger Classic.
- Simon Werven and Brady Heller recorded personal bests in the heptathlon and added their names to the top-ten list at the Bill Clinger Classic. Werven's score of 4261 was good for No. 5 all-time and Heller's score of 4261 puts him at No. 10 in MU history.
- Sophomore Katie Dingle put her name at No. 6 all-time in the pentathlon with a score of 3266.
- Freshman Haley Schaffer was victorious in the triple jump with a personal best 11.57 meters/37 feet, 11.5 inches, No. 9 all-time, at the John Tierney Invite. Junior Molly Evans set a PR with the same mark as Schaffer and shares the No.9 all-time spot.
- Sophomore Zachariah Murray won the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.91.
- Sophomore Patrick Hetlage received runner-up honors in the mile and set a personal best with a time of 4:17.51 at the John Tierney Invite.
