
‘Blue & Gold’ Student-Athlete: Will Foster

Senior midfielder is public relations major in Diederich College of Communication
MILWAUKEE – Senior men's lacrosse student-athlete Will Foster is the Blue & Gold Student-Athlete of the Month for May, as chosen by Marquette Athletics' Academics and Programs staff.
Foster is a senior public relations major with a minor in marketing & professional selling. He has earned Dean's List and Athletic Director's Honor Roll every semester and was named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team every year. He is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma (student-athlete honor society) and serves as the Vice President for Community Service for SAAC.
The Eden Prairie, Minnesota native leads the athletics' men's bible study group and is active with Athletics, Faith & Academics, the faith-based group in Marquette Athletics. He is a leader and mentor with Team Impact, involved in the Milwaukee beach clean-up group, and volunteers with wheelchair lacrosse. Most recently, Will earned the prestigious Cura Personalis Award, honoring one student-athlete who embodies care for the whole person, care for others, care for the community, and lives out the mission of Marquette University and Marquette Athletics.
On the field, Foster is among MU's all-time leaders in goals, assists and total points. His 52 career assists are fourth in program history, while he is seventh in points (105) and 10th in goals (53). He's just the third player in program history to reach 100 career points with at least 50 goals and 50 assists.
